POSITION SUMMARY
As a member of the partner integrations team, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team working with third parties to integrate partner consumer services broadening the BBM user experience. Potential services include partnerships with payment, identity, messaging, and advertising companies.
The successful candidate will work closely with business development managers to engage potential partners in kick-starting integrations with the BBM API platform. You will own the engineering component of the sales conversation and explain the integration at a API level to 3rd parties.
The candidate will work with teams in Indonesia, Canada, and partner sites. Travel may be required from time-to-time.
Position will be based in Jakarta, Indonesia
RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be responsible to:
- Support our business development team in helping partners understand what is possible with the BBM platform API and discuss integration approaches.
- Identify integration requirements and works with partners to develop an integrated architecture for the purpose of creating a solution vision.
- Discuss and create technical proof of concepts with partners at a code level.
- Deliver training and education to partners to bootstrap integration projects.
- Work with marketing to create technical content to support the partner integration process based on recurring partner questions/feedback.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a software development role.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a technical sales, sales engineer or pre-sales consultant role.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Experience in current web technologies and mobile application software (iOS/Android).
- Experience with messaging, payments, or social media projects is a plus.
- Demonstrable ability to present to technical and business level audiences
- Sales, marketing, or business development experience is a plus.
ADDITIONAL ASSETS
- Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Good written and oral communication skills in English and Bahasa
